“We received an IRS Penalty Letter 226J for our 2015 ACA filing. The penalty amount was $845,000! Even though we did our reporting through our payroll, I immediately reached out to Relph Benefit Advisors for help. Lisa dropped everything and researched not only the “A” penalty but also did the background work on the “B” penalty. Lisa was in my office the very next day and we discussed our options and responses and we followed her recommendation. Lisa crafted our response Statement, completed the 14764 and re-coded all employees on the 14765. We received our response back from the IRS via Letter 227K which Lisa says is the “golden ticket”. The IRS released us from both the A and B penalty assessment, our penalty was reduced to $0.

My daughter is visiting from Germany. She has Foreign Service health insurance which is great on German soil – not too great here.
